In the second trial, five victims testified that Cosby had in some instances given them drugs and in others got them drunk and assaulted them. They were able to show a clear and consistent pattern in Cosby’s actions.

Ms. Constand claimed that the incident happened at the Philadephia home of Cosby in January of 2004. She said that he had invited her over to discuss her career plans, though he claimed that the two had been involved romantically since shortly after they had met. According to Ms. Constand, he gave her what was suppose to have been herbal supplements. However, she was soon seeing double vision then blacked out. She testified that she came to with Cosby assaulting her.

During his first interview regarding the new book, “Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff”, Sean Penn discussed how he met the original creator of the manuscript for the book. Sean Penn goes on to tell Stephen Colbert that he met the author during a party while he was in the “passion pit” area in 1979. After a quick and uneasy conversation with the man that Sean had mistaken for an atrocious piece of art that was taking up bar stool seating space at the party, he ended up giving out his mother’s home address to the man.

 

Sean Penn’s mother favorably sold 500 greeting cards to the future author of “Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff“. About 4 decades later, she received a package from “Pappy Pariah”, which she had mistaken for Sean Penn fan mail. After realizing that the name was familiar, Sean asked his mother to send him the package instead of throwing it away. He soon discovered that it was the manuscript for “Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff”.

The author wanted Sean to help him release the book before the elections took place, so they chose the fastest way to do it, publishing an audiobook. During the second “Late Night” interview with Stephen Colbert, Sean went on to admit that he was the original author of the book, “Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff”. Seemingly confused, Stephen proceeded to ask questions.

 

Stephen asked Sean why he lied about it and Sean said that it’s what the fictional character does. Apparently, “Pappy” nor “Bob” smoke, they just “do stuff”. Unlike the character he played during the interview, Sean Penn. Sean ended up smoking two cigarettes on television while on the “Late Show”, by the way.

 

The character “Pappy Pariah” seems to be an alter ego of Sean’s for him to be able to write the book, “Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff”. However, Bob seems to also be a representation of Sean Penn’s world views and political opinions. The character in the book goes on to describe the fictional President as “the landlord” and proceeds to insult him in various, creative ways.

The UK based charity Sightsavers was founded by Sir John and Lady Jean Wilson. An accident cost Sir John his sight when he was a boy. While touring he discovered an unusually high rate of blindness in the Middle East and Africa and was appalled by the way the blind were treated.

In 1950 Sir John laid the groundwork for what would become Sightsavers by establishing the British Empire Society for the Blind. Sixty-eight years later Sightsavers works to prevent and reverse avoidable blindness. Sightsavers is also committed to disease eradication, and advocates for the disabled.

As part of its crusade to prevent blindness, Sightsavers provides cataract surgery to people in impoverished areas around the globe. Their Million Miracles program is working to restore the eyesight of one million people by 2021. In conjunction with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Sightsavers issued 122 visually impaired Malawian children eyeglasses. Malawian children with Albinism were given sunscreen and protective clothing. The objective of the initiative was to allow both groups to attend school.

Page Six reported that Jay-Z went above and beyond for business partner. OG Juan Perez, for his 50th birthday celebration over Presidents’ Day weekend. Him and a small group of friends spent $13,000 on dinner, another $9,000 on drinks and also a tab that sang $91,000 at the club.

Jay-Z, OG Juan Perez, Desiree Perez (Og Juan’s wife), and Roc Nation executives started the night in Midtown at the chic and internationally-acclaimed Japanese restaurant Zuma, on Sunday evening. Dinner cost them $13,000. After dinner they dipped over to Made in Mexico, a restaurant/nightclub spot in Inwood. Sources reported Jay-Z ordered several bottles of D’USSÉ, a cognac that he serves as partial owner of. This racked up that $9,000 bill in liquor. Then things got a little ridiculous. They ended the night at Playroom Nightclub where they took things to new levels with 40 bottles of champagne. This is where the $91,000 bill came from.

The group started out with several friends and executives but ended with only Jay-Z, OG Juan, and about four other friends to close down the night at Playroom Nightclub. They reportedly bought 20 bottles of Ace of Spades Gold champagne and 20 other Ace of Spades Rose’. One of their waitresses posted the receipt on Snapchat making the story go viral. Of course, the public had a lot of opinions on this matter.

All in all this helped Jay-Z’s brand. All liquor bought was apart of own partnerships. Jay-Z purchased the Champagne brand Ace of Spades in 2014. The fact that the story about OG Juan’s birthday went viral is more advertisement for the brands in itself.

Have you looked at the news out of Washington? The latest comes from the FAA where Dick Devos has been appointed to the Management Advisory Council. As of September 2017, Devos has joined the council along with 12 others. The members come from all walks of life, including transportation authority and aviation, but Devos comes from the world of business.

 

Devos has been moving in political circles for quite some time, but he originally got his start in sales and business. He is the former CEO and President of Amway, as well as the current CEO and Founder of The Windquest Group. As someone who has worked around the top elites in business, Devos knows business strategy like no other. It will be his job to help the FAA with upcoming ideas for growth as competition grows steep in some markets.

Sahm Adrangi Takes on the Bull Market with Three New Shorts

The company St. Joe may have had a good amount of success developing land on beachfront property in Florida, but the same cannot be said for a large tract of land located in Central Florida that can only be best described as swampland. Investors into this development have been waiting for around 10 years to hear news about returns, but they have been rather quiet and there has been little to no progress when it comes to making changes to this property and there is no indication that this will change any time in the near future. In order for the company to meet the expectations and valuations that they had presented to investors, they would have to have sales that would set impressive records throughout the United States.
